Melanie Clarance is an “impact investment” rainmaker, aligning her deep medical and scientific knowledge with specially curated venture capital/private equity companies focused primarily on transformative life sciences, biotech, medical devices, renewable energy and clean tech industries. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science (Agr.), a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, the Canadian Investment Finance/Management designation (CIM) and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute. Melanie has also successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course (Honours) and successfully passed the President, Directors and Officers Options, Registered Rep. and the Partners, Directors and Senior Officers exam and Exempt Market Products Exam. Melanie draws upon many years of veterinary practice, the experience of which allows her to bridge conversations between scientific and medical issuing clients and finance focused investors.

Relentlessly both relationship and results focused, Melanie has worked as an Assoc. Portfolio Manager for a complement of prestigious Swiss Banks including Pictet & Co. (Canada) Ltd., UBS Canada and EFG (Canada). She received training in Geneva, Zurich, London, Bahamas, Montreal and Hong Kong. Her reach is global.

In the past, Melanie was CEO & President of her own Exempt Market Dealer and closed on several multi-million dollar capital raises, allowing well over 20 companies to successfully launch and flourish.
